Sports are a crucial part of a student's growth and development. They help in the development of mental health and physical fitness of the body. Through participation in sports and games, a student gains various skills, experience and confidence that are helpful for developing their personality.
Physical education's purpose is to develop the powers of the body in such a way so as to make them co-operative with those of the mind and soul For the development of the whole human body. Games provide more than Physical Training as they develop initiative, decision, endurance skill and team spirit and because they offer opportunities for moral formation and social training, they are especially encouraged.
TABLE TENNIS : We play a lot of Table Tennis here at SRGMSS. The best part is that ‘T.T.’ is evenly distributed throughout the year. Therefore our paddlers are busy round the year imposing their dominance not just in and around the Agra district but much beyond. The tournaments begin in June-July. Here the standard is set by our students (both boys and girls), thanks to many hours of tedious practice in our Table Tennis Hall.

BASKETBALL : Basketball is one of the most played games in the world. It’s a favorite among students, especially with those at college levels, as multiple tertiary institutions own student basketball teams. The game’s importance to students’ lives isn’t just limited to entertainment as it extends to also provide them with multiple other benefits; The school has a standard size outdoor basketball court. the students have won several championships in inter school competition. The training sessions are conducted with sincerely and enthusiasm from class IX to XII.
BADMINTON : The game played years ago by the Nawabs for leisure and recreation is an integral part of the Sumeet Rahul Goel School. The Sumeet Rahul students bring prestige and honour to their respective houses – after all, there is a gleaming trophy that awaits the winning team after all the matches has been played.
TAE KWON DO : Martial Arts training is the only activity perfectly positioned to integrate character education, as Martial Arts simply serve as a vehicle to instill values and skills that children can put to use outside of the Martial Arts School. Skills like: Self-Confidence, Self-Control, Positive Thinking; Listening Skills, Respect, Good Manners, The Ability to Focus Attention, Perseverance and Courage are been learned by children here in Sumeet Rahul School. The core of Martial arts stresses the vital importance of a healthy mind and body necessary to lead a productive life as it is been conducted as a daily routine practice in the school. It is been a privilege that our students has reached to a state level in this sport.
CHESS : was introduced in our school because we believe that it directly contributes to the academic performance. Chess makes kids smarter, sharper and more active. Children are taught the benefits of observing carefully and concentrating. If you don’t watch what is happening, you can't respond to it, no matter how smart you are. Our children’s has participated and won at the district level competitions.
Yoga brings together mind, body and breath to produce perfect balance within us. In today’s rushed lifestyle, Yoga can be the perfect addition to school curriculum as it can help children keep their minds calm and grow holistically. From time immemorial, it has helped bring greatness to the lives of many. It is a treasure that has been inherited thus far and must now be imparted for the benefit and welfare of future generations to come. The little huts, the cooling shadow of the trees and the loose sands of the earth that stuck to little yogi’s feet are now replaced by the wide halls of classrooms. Though the scene may appear to be different, yoga adapts to time, place and circumstance.It’s been a regular activity in our school.
Aerobics school children can enhance their psychological as well as physical functioning after participating in aerobics programs that include aerobic running. All of the aerobic exercises have the potential to assist in promoting physical and psychological health, however, children and adolescents will find running activities to be the most accessible aerobic exercise in terms of skills development, costs, and availability.
