Description : ' Veer Baal Diwas ' -- A comprehensive report On Veer bal Diwas tribute event conducted at our school Sumeet Rahul Goel Memorial sr sec school on December 26, 2023, in commemoration of the sacrifices made by the Sahibzadas of the Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The event began with a special assembly where heartfelt tributes were paid by the school Principal, staff members, and the students. The significance and historical importance of Veer Baal Diwas were elucidated to the students, aiming to educate them about the importance of this significant date in Sikh history. As part of the assembly, a poignant poem based on the lives of the Sahibzadas was recited, portraying their bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to their principles. An essay writing competition, painting competition, and slogan writing competition were conducted, allowing students to express their understanding and appreciation for the legacy of the Sahibzadas. Moreover, a notable highlight of the event was the arranged virtual address by the Honorable Prime Minister, delivered exclusively to students of classes IX to XII. This address provided a broader perspective on the values upheld by the Sahibzadas and their enduring impact on society. The event successfully fostered a sense of reverence, remembrance, and understanding among the students, helping them recognize and honor the sacrifices of the Sahibzadas.
