Heritage club was established on 10th April, 2017, with the solo motive of creating awareness among the students about their local, cultural and natural heritage. We believe that it is possible to bring about a change in the attitude of elders by sensitising Children.
Heritage is the full range of our inherited traditions, monuments, objects, meanings and behaviours that we draw from our past. In other words, Heritage is a person’s unique, inherited sense of family identity, the values, traditions, culture and its artefacts handed down by previous generations. Moreover heritage is our bond to the past, to our present and the future. It is our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations. Yet despite its importance there is never any guarantee that heritage will survive and be passed on to the next generation. India has a rich heritage in its history other than revenue, tourism and economic aspects of our heritage sites, the preservation of these heritage sites are important to celebrate the architectural and cultural marvels of our people thousands of years back.
