The House Name is Dedicated to the most reverend Gurudev RABINDRANATH TAGORE He is considered as greatest pioneer figure in modern Indian Renaissance. We look upon him as the source of knowledge and as the inspiration of all noble thought and great idea, although Nobel Prize-winning poet Tagore prioritized poetry, he was a source of inspiration for his notable contributions to literature as a dramatist, novelist, short story writer, and writer of nonfictional prose, especially essays, criticism, philosophical treatises, journals, memoirs, and letters. In addition, he expressed himself as musician, painter, actor-producer-director, educator, patriot, and social reformer.
A man of prodigious literary and artistic accomplishments, Tagore played a leading role in Indian cultural renaissance and came to be recognized, along with Mohandas In 1913, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in literature for English version of Geetanjali. He was first Indian to get this award. He also founded VishwaBharati university at Shantiniketan. He displayed immense love for the country when he rejected Knighthood in protest against Jallianwalabagh massacre.
Though he left the world on 7th August 1941, but his Ideas and ideals will continue to enlighten our paths for many more years to come
